ME my story . . . ...

At the very heart of documentary, there is an issue and a message at hand.
the passing on of this message to the
audience is usually the reason that the film was made in the first place.
Documentaries have long been used as an instrument to inspire change in their
audience, be it social change or inner change.

The focus of the film and the subject matter it is dealing with must be kept in mind at all
times.

in-depth knowledge on the subject would be
extremely valuable in creating an insightful and engaging script.

The amount of research a
scriptwriter puts in is directly related to the ‘value’ of the film.

A film doesn’t adhere to our dimensions of time
and space. Once made, it continues to exist in a little bubble of its own,
transcending the limits of our present lives. A screenwriter must understand that
writing for a film means creating a being that should have a life of its own long
after the writer has moved on from it.

awakening experience -had visuals; saw the world in a different way; spiritual quest
- read religious books; spiritual insight into deeper meaning of life

nervous breakdown; insecurity; depression; social paranoia; ; "find myself"

found focus
- make positive change in education
- took a minor in world religions
- did a presentation on the "Psychology of Religion" in the context of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs; focusing on Human Potential

read books
wrote papers

traveled to Europe
awakening experience - Amsterdam rave "We're all one welcomes you to the Temple of Paradise" - religious theme
-on beach of spain, finished book, settled with myself and direction in life

at home
-worked with kids, creative activities
went to toronto, had a vision for filmmaking/creative multimedia
went to class for communications, worked with ideas
made a video, bought a camera, started attending events

wrote out stories of what i wanted to do as a filmmaker ('freedom', olympics, chinese culture)
went to europe----- soared the journey of 'destiny'

*athens, gave footage for olympic beginnings
editing/living in chatham, i ****dreamed about having a documentary party being filmed,

*did photoshoots, such as canada red robe and miss diversity

+moved myself outwest, went with the flow of where my life opened doors
remain open to opportunities, when they present themself
walk fully through the door
+when i left, had frames up of these photos, and arriving in west coast, went through journey of pageantry
-have explored events, met people, conversation

+aboriginal music studies, convention opening, miss vancouver, miss bc, events to film/media/films,

exploring has given a great sense of appreciation for life, learning about journey of humanity, change brought about through technology

+believed in pageant, did pageant,.. again challenged to find self and re-dream
found another opportunity..THIS IS IT...challenged again to find inner core of being,...
create music, film, again do pageant if that is in the card for our best ability in destiny

inspired to keep going and BELIEVE AND make time to make it happen. LOVE!!! BE STRONG!

Scene 1: My journey started when i woke up at night (clouds/sky/city into sky)
and saw the world in a new light

i wanted to learn more;
(library/school/books)

i sought answers
and began to dream about who i wanted to be
(writing/notetaking)
(modeling, performer, photo shoot)

then
i found myself
experiencing life as a movie. I was playing a part and directing with passion

i found myself (playing a staring role in my own adventure)
(travels, amsterdam, athens, nicaragua, toronto, nyc, across canada)

Scene 2:
Today my journey has opened doors
to what i have dreamed myself to be

(speaking on stage, dance of feather/dreamer)

Epilogue: Tomorrow is a new day and my journey continues...

Through my own journey I have learned that enjoying the adventure of dreams is a task of inner growth and acceptance because the path that you find yourself on can sway and waver, carrying you to places and opportunities far greater than your dreams imagined. :)
